Become an ambassador for your city and county

The 'Big It Up' campaign is aimed at encouraging high profile local people to take pride in the destination and act as ambassadors for Leicester and Leicestershire.

The initiative provides resources and support for representatives from local organisations across the public, private and voluntary sectors to help promote Leicester and Leicestershire as an ideal location in which to live, invest and to visit.

The number of Big It Up members in Leicester and Leicestershire is now over 1,000 and growing. Members include high profile individuals from the business, cultural, political and sporting sectors including well-known names such as Martin Johnson and Tiny Deol.

A monthly bulletin is produced to update Big It Up members on major projects and good news stories for Leicester and Leicestershire.
